Terms of Service

Last updated: August 11, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Personal Health Inspector. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

What Personal Health Inspector is

Personal Health Inspector is an organizational tool for tracking medications, appointments, preventive-care tasks, documents, and reminders. It is not a medical provider, does not offer medical advice, and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. It does not replace advice from a licensed healthcare professional, and it is not an emergency service — call your local emergency number for a medical emergency.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the app (generally, be an adult in your jurisdiction) or have appropriate authorization to manage the account on someone else's behalf.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Basic is free. Plus and Family & Caregiver are paid subscriptions billed monthly or yearly, processed by Stripe.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing.
  • Cancelling stops future billing; depending on your choice, access continues until the end of the current billing period or ends immediately, and your account returns to the free Basic plan.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we state otherwise at the time of a specific offer.
  • We may change pricing going forward; we won't change what you've already been charged for a period you've paid for.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to store information you don't have the right to store.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation, or attempt to bypass its security controls.
  • Use the app to provide medical advice or emergency response to others.

Caregiver invitations

If you invite someone as a caregiver, you're representing that you have the right to share the relevant information with them at the permission level you select. Caregiver access can be reviewed and revoked at any time by the account owner.

Disclaimer of medical & warranty disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered — see our FAQ for realistic expectations about notification delivery. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, and you should independently verify any date, dose, or detail that matters for your health decisions with a qualified professional.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Personal Health Inspector is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a missed reminder or notification. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
