Frequently asked questions

Answers, clearly explained

Everything you need to know about plans, privacy, medications, appointments, and caregiver access — in plain language.

Support & notification expectations

A clear picture of how reminders and support actually work, so there are no surprises.

Email reminders

Appointment, medication, and preventive-care reminders are sent to the email address on your account when they come due, based on the lead time you set.

SMS reminders

If you add a phone number and turn on text notifications in Settings, you'll also receive reminders by SMS. SMS is optional and off by default.

Support response time

Messages sent through our Contact page are reviewed by our team and answered by email. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days, though actual response times can vary.

If a notification doesn't arrive

Delivery can occasionally fail or be delayed — a provider outage, a full inbox, or a carrier issue with SMS. Every reminder sent (or attempted) is recorded in your notification history, so you can check what actually went out.

Important: Personal Health Inspector is an organizational tool, not a monitoring or emergency service. Do not rely on it for urgent medical matters. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
